Stensjö is a small place on the Swedish west coast, located at the
coast line between the two cities Falkenberg
and Halmstad.

Although the beach is quite small (as Stensjö is) it's very versatile and have some nice features, it got grass, sand and smooth cliffs (even rugged if you prefer), the beach has a good natural protection against large waves and currents even at hard winds thanks to two small islands, even a third island another 400 meters away. The beach is even "protected" by some small reefs and large boulders just below the surface, especially one reef is so close to the surface that it get above the surface at low tide, so take care and study the charts if you arrive by boat, even a canoe can hit the reef.
Stensjö do have a small boat harbour for small sailing and motor boats, the depth in the harbour is only 1.0 meter, so please don't try to enter it by a larger sailing boat or a yacht.
One of the largest crabs I have ever seen was captured with a
fishing net at the sea outside Stensjö in the beginning of July 1999, it weighed 1653
grams. The pincers weighed 700 grams together, 350 grams each, in size these were almost
as big as a human hand. Here are some photos on the crab.
